Authentic Chicago style hot dogs at Da Beef in SoMa
Da Beef is a hot dog cart that was opened in 2008 by two ladies from Chicago who wanted to bring authentic Chicago style hot dogs and Italian beef sandwiches to San Francisco. They are located on the corner of 7th St. and Folsom in SOMA, in Oil Can Henry’s parking lot.
They offer different types of hot dogs and sausages, as well as an authentic Italian beef sandwich with giardiniera cheese, but the star is defintely the Chicago style Vienna beef hot dog.
