The Really Really Free Market at Dolores Park

25Mar09

On the last Saturday of every month from 1:00-5:00pm, community organizers host The Really Really Free Market which is exactly what it sounds like. People bring whatever usable items and services they have to offer, such as food, random knick knacks, entertainment, skilled services, whatever. The Really Really Free Market preaches many ideas such as that sharing is more fulfullling than owning, a sunny day outside is better than anything money can buy, and no one should have to do without food, shelter, entertainment, and community. It seems like a great way to get outside, meet great people, and perhaps go home with something useful while helping someone else out.
